I’ve managed care homes before I joined Whiston Hall and have worked in training and development roles as well as management of care homes.
Two of my roles in management have been where homes have been rated as requires improvement and have worked with the team to turn the homes around to support care homes to meet regulatory compliance.
Whiston hall is a fantastic home and I’m very proud to have the opportunity in working with the team in providing excellent care.
The dedicated team at Whiston Hall is made up of 32 staff members, each dedicated to delivering the highest possible standards of care. Our care staff are highly qualified and have NVQ Level 2 up to level 7 in health and social care or Management.
In addition to our capable and compassionate carers, our staff also consists of a dedicated home manager and auxiliary staff such as maintenance men and gardeners.
We also have an activities entertainer devoted to providing and organising a range of daily entertainment and activities, including trips out to the picturesque Whiston Village, bingo, karaoke, card games, and more.
We also offer a range of external services to ensure that we cater to all our clients’ needs. This includes any necessary physiotherapy or additional medical care services such as general medical practitioners, chiropodists, and a range of other healthcare professionals, all of which are available upon request at a charge to the resident.
